Devoting ourselves to our kids easily loses any higher purpose when it turns into never-ending housework, juggling camp schedules, memorizing Costco’s layout, and breaking up WWIII over legos. Real fulfilling. 🙄

Our need for a higher purpose is rarely discussed in parenting. Why? Well, parenting life is pretty busy, in case you hadn’t noticed - not a lot of time for pondering the meaning of life.🤔 Plus, people get squirrely when you talk about a ‘higher purpose,’ like we’re trying to get you to join a cult or something 🐿️ But there’s another reason - You’re a mother. Isn’t your life’s meaning obvious? The meaning of a mom’s life is…being a mom, right? Problem solved! Gross! 🤮
